Transcript for "Looking Forward: Rising To You":
Well, good morning, everyone. I'm very excited to be here with you this morning to give you a few of the key insights that came from our recent rising to you conference that we had in San Francisco in September. My name is Allyson Skene, and I'm the vice president for global product vision and experience. And I'm going to be walking you through what some of those key highlights were. So get ready to go and have rising delivered to you. So with that, let's move through to a couple of those key areas that we wanted to start off with for the presentation today. So thinking about the changes that have come through, I do have to put up a product statement because I am gonna touch on a couple of, you know, some of those future things that we're, building for you at the moment. So you'll you'll get some of those key insights into what we are delivering. So when we think about what's been happening for the last twenty years, we really believe that the best way to help you win is to constantly reimagine what's possible from the beginning. It wasn't just about, you know, building new features. It was about rethinking how work gets done and solving problems in ways no one else could. And with that mindset, it's really carried us from those first customers to more than 11,000 today. And it's why when we look at HR, finance, and now IT leaders really trusting Workday with your most critical systems. It's also why time and time again, we've been able to anticipate the change and help you stay ahead of the curve. So when we founded Workday twenty years ago, yes, it's our twenty year anniversary this year. So our mission was really clear at the start. We wanted to give leaders the tools that allow you to navigate this rapidly changing world so you can improve efficiency and effectiveness. We also wanna be able to look at areas such as driving growth and delivering better experiences for your people. And so those goals, when we think about finance, HR, and IT, you know, they haven't changed over the past two decades. If anything, what has changed is the environment around us. You know, the challenges are bigger. The opportunities are bolder, and the path forward is more complex than ever. So let's start by looking at what this new environment can look like as well as talking about what some of those challenges are that we're all facing. First off, we have AI. Like, every conversation I have with a customer is about AI. And, yes, you're all excited about it, but there's also a lot of confusion. You know, the market is flooded with new tools. They can promise these quick fixes, but, really, they can fail to deliver on blasting value. In fact, MIT recently found that despite billions in enterprise spending on generative AI, 95 percent of organizations are seeing no business return. So that's a bit of a concern. The second area is work is changing. It's no longer about just your full time employees. You're managing this mix of full time workers, contractors, frontline workers, and even AI agents now. So when we also think about the frontline workers, particularly in the high value volume industries that we have at Workday, they make up 70% of the global workforce. Pretty astounding number. So when you need to bring all of this together, you know, how do we help you be engaged? How do we help you be more productive as well as properly skilled? And that can be incredibly difficult. So to succeed, you need this holistic, human centric approach where your people and your AI work together in harmony. We also recognize that managing workers in our UX is an area of improvement for us. Your feedback to us is critical for driving our strategy, and we wanna continue to hear from you as we're going forward. So what's our third area? It's around the vendor ecosystem. And it's still catching up to the way you innovate today, especially with the rise of AI. You know, we're seeing more and more of our customers with their own in house developers building custom solutions and applications. But when we look at this, that ability to create and connect is often stifled by a vendor landscape filled with complex disconnected tools. And you're left to piece together the countless and and potentially sometimes subpar solutions that create these silos. It slows down innovation and it can limit the agility that you have. So instead of really thinking about how you can truly unlock your team's potential. So those challenges are real, but they're not insurmountable. So as we think about this from a workday standpoint, we believe there's a better way forward. In fact, a new workday to, you know, use that pun. One that is AI powered, it's human centric, and it also needs to be future ready. So the new workday starts with two foundational pillars, a unique AI strategy and our open platform approach. We've spent the last two decades really being laser focused on solving your biggest challenges. So while others are just starting to hand out new tools, we've actually built this unified platform with AI at its core. And looking at that platform, it's actually fueled by data from more than 1,000,000,000,000 transactions that flow through Workday each year, spending millions of workers and tens of thousands of roles. But it's not just the scale of our data that matters. It's our deep understanding of it too. We know how business processes get done, how they connect across HR and finance, and and who needs to be involved. So this domain expertise that we have, this deep domain expertise, really sets us apart. So it enables us to apply our AI approach with precision to deliver tangible value. So every AI solution that we build must tie into one of these key sort of four outcomes, amplifying talent potential, boosting productivity, improving decision making, or strengthening compliance. If it doesn't, we won't build it. So that's our promise with Workday Illuminate is to deliver real business value, delivering it responsibly and ethically. And you'll see some examples of that as I work walk through the presentation with you today. So the second pillar of vision and one that I'm particularly excited about is our open platform. So over the years, many of you have pushed us to be even more open, and you were right to. So we want Workday to be a powerful hub for your business, one that gives you the flexibility to adapt and innovate at your own pace. And we wanted to do this on a secure and trusted foundation. And that's why today, we're making Workday the most open platform in the industry. We're opening up our platform in entirely new ways, giving you the flexibility to integrate the best in class tools you already use to build your own apps quickly as well as maximizing the value of AI. And, look, it's not just about connecting systems. It's about putting you at the center of your AI ecosystem so you can move faster. You can innovate more freely and thrive no matter what comes next. So what does this all mean? Well, it's at the heart of our 20 journey and our vision into this future that we see, we wanna come down to really two key things. We wanna have this relentless focus on you. We also wanna have an unwavering commitment to innovation. So we've talked about some of the challenges you're facing, and I've shared with you, you know, some of the approaches that we're taking to tackle those from this differentiated AI strategy approach that we have as well as our open platform. But at the end of the day, our goal is really simple. We wanna give you clarity. We wanna give you confidence and value that you need in order to navigate this new era of work, and that leads us with where we are today. So we wanna think about Workday being the enterprise AI platform for managing people, money, and agents. So we're delivering this next generation of ERP where we've really reimagined it for the AI era. It's not a static system of record, but a system of action that understands your businesses. It anticipates your needs, and it helps you reimagine how work gets done. So it's really about setting a new standard for enterprise AI that truly understands your business and a platform that helps you move faster to make smarter decisions, to unlock the potential of your people as well as your business. So this new feat future doesn't have to be something that just happens to us. It's something we create. So let's define what this new Workday will look like together. So what does it start with? Well, it starts with the first step, which is creating the best AI agent for HR, for finance, and for planning. So when we look at having these best AI agents that are purpose built for you, and I mentioned earlier that we have that trillion business transactions every year, we've got this unparalleled view into how people and money really move through organizations. So Workday Illuminate AI doesn't just see the data. It's intelligence embedded directly into our processes with full awareness of the business context. But at the center of this agentic strategy is people. Your Workday is a people first application, and we always will be. And we sort of see this human machine collaboration as the future work model with Agenctic AI. It's not simply about, you know, people micromanaging these simplistic agents, and it's certainly not about swapping people with AI. You know, the agents are really here to augment people, and really scale the impact of your people. So Workday is really thinking about designing our agentic strategy and products around this work pattern. And when we think about Illuminate transforming work, we have to really understand and design with this focus on augmenting people to do their best work and that human centered approach that I mentioned. So what do we do? Well, firstly, we map the end to end user journeys in a business function. Then we think about what is the biggest pain points and friction that you have around that. We then look at how could we reimagine the journey and the processes that are a part of it. And finally, applying AI to optimize how work gets done and to free up people to focus on what you do best. So thinking about this, AI shouldn't be then siloed into individual tasks. It needs to orchestrate across the platform, enabling accurate and efficient approaches so we can accelerate the tasks, automate the workflows, and really unlock next level planning, reasoning, and actions as we go forward. So last year, we unveiled our first wave of Workday Illuminate AI agents, and our customers are already experiencing tremendous value from these. Here's just a couple of examples. So with our recruiting agent and talent mobility agent, they're transforming how organizations discover and develop talent. One of our large automotive customers cut candidate screening time by 70%, which also then, of course, help to reduce their time to fill. And at AdventHealth, they cut hiring manager decision time by 40%. Our contract intelligence agents is reducing contract execution time by 65% and accelerating both sales cycles and supplier onboarding. In fact, at Workday, our own legal team said forty five thousand hours a quarter thanks to our contract intelligence agent. That's huge when we think about the time saving for our team. But we haven't stopped there. So more recently, we made nine more agents available in early adopter. So customers are already seeing the impact. So I wanted to call out just a couple of these to you. A new self-service agent, AskWorkday, is our next generation as we think about generative AI powered approaches to how your users, your employees, your managers can be asking questions, getting answers that are relevant to the task that they're in, right in the flow of work that they're doing. So what does this look like? Let's have a look here at an example. What you see is me going in to AskWorkday. As I'm asking workday the question in this particular example, I'm having a baby soon. What do I need to do? So AskWorkday will go and find the information to help you with that. It also provides you transparency with the sources. In this case, it was going across a SharePoint site, giving you that targeted relevant information. But I wanna keep going with this example. Will I actually get to keep my benefits? Well, it'll look for the answer for that, again, in the context of who I am and where I am working within the business. But not only that, I can then start to think about my lead requests. I'm going on leave from the March 20. So I've now got the lead request. What do I want it to do? Well, I actually want it to create that request for me. Again, validating. Are you sure? Is this what you want? You submit, and that request is now in. All in the flow of work, making it simple, having those questions answered for your employees, and making this available, not just within the browser, but on the mobile or for those of you that are Teams or Slack users, bringing it to you in the flow of work as we go through. So what's next as we go forward with this particular approach? Well, let's move in and start to look at the next example of where we're going from a capability standpoint. So thinking about your frontline workers, we talked about the fact that, you know, frontline workers are a big chunk of the workforce that's out there. So what are we seeing with our frontline agent is it's helping managers spend 90% less time managing ship work schedules and finding a replacement on a moment's notice. So let's now go see this in action. Here you see an employee putting in a request. I'm sick today. I'm doing this on my mobile device. So not only can I put that in, it the agent will automatically create the absence request? Now it notifies their people later telling them that Alex is off today. But now it's going back and it's providing potential employees that could fulfill his shift, notifying the employee, Noah, in this case, that he's been put onto that shift, allowing him to see the shift details, accepting the shift, and submitting that through. So again, we've been successful. We've got the absence requests in place. I've put the notifications in. My new employees are working on the shift, all in the flow of my frontline agent. But we also then think about this from a planning standpoint, where our planning agent has helped customers, again, cut data exploration time by 30%, saving roughly, you know, hundreds of hours a month as they go through. So what does this planning agent then look like? Well, it acts as a central orchestrator in adaptive planning, thinking about the different capabilities that you have, your panelists, your planners, your modelers, and your administrators. So I just ask Workday, our co pilot and the planning agent, works behind the scenes and gives you the necessary tools and skills to answer the question. So what am I doing? What do I need as an analyst? Exploring the data, the highlights, the anomalies. As a modeler, thinking about this from a simplifying the model design that I have suggesting formulas and optimizing structures as I'm going through. Well, we haven't finished with this. We then have our b p optimize agent. And looking at one of our customers that has already saved their teams thirty five hundred hours of work per per quarter by just following the agent's recommendations on how it can streamline an entire process. And we know you all have hundreds of different business processes out there. So how could the business process optimize agent help you? Well, firstly, I get insights across my business processes and understand the times associated with those different processes. But now I'm gonna ask Workday questions around it. So the agent, I'm saying, you know, what do I need to be looking at? What are my, you know, worst performing agents that I may have in play at the moment. So it goes across and it tells me that. And then I can ask questions like, how does this actually compare? So again, giving me insights. What are we seeing across our other customers? What are the industry benchmarks? Are you above that? Are you below that? And if you're below that, what could you actually be doing to improve upon that as we look at the details here? So now I can see the bottlenecks that are in place. That's great. But what can I actually do to address the bottlenecks? So the agent is now going and is looking for details around what you can do to optimize those particular steps that you have in place. I can ask it more questions. What do I need to be doing? How do I get the right information? So here's the step by step examples on what I can be doing to improving that process flow. But we haven't stopped. What are the next wave of agents that we're looking to bring to you? So these new agents take on some of the most complex processes in your business, performance reviews, workforce planning, financial close, to help you work smarter, faster, and with greater confidence. So let's dig into a couple of these as as we look at them. You know, firstly, we have, you know, HR service delivery. Your employees have questions. They have lots of questions. And they're critical, but what we need to think about is how do we then help answer those questions because it can be complex or processing times can be long and we wanna be fast about how we're delivering the answers through. So this is where our new case agent will come in play. It automatically reviews similar HR cases. It can apply the right context and draft a tailored response, resolving cases faster and lowering the number of support requests that are out there. The manual work disappears while the most important part, caring for your employees, stays human. Secondly, we have our performance reviews. Well, done well, they can really shape the culture and drive outcomes. But when they're done poorly, they can be rushed and ineffective. So a new performance agent changes that. It draws on data across Workday and other systems like Salesforce, for example, and gives managers comprehensive data driven assistance. Now managers can focus on meaningful feedback, building this great performance culture that truly powers the business. And then think about this from closing the books. For many, it's a high pressure sprint. You know, you're chasing anomalies, reconciling accounts, and piecing it all together at the last minute. Any financial close agent will really help to streamline the entire process. It coordinates closed tasks across teams, flags issues in real time, and brings everything together for you. So now financial close can become more predictable, efficient, and lower risk processes. So these agents are really transforming how work gets done. But we also then think about not only the workday agents, but all those other agents that you may have across your businesses. And there's a new term that's coming to play called agent sprawl. So how do you now think about managing those agents as digital employees, really? So we we manage your employees already. So we also wanna think about the management of those agents, the onboarding, the offboarding. What are the skills? What's the security need we need to give them? What's the performance of these agents as well? So we're building a bidirectional ecosystem where your agents can work seamlessly across platforms, giving you total flexibility to be able to innovate with complete confidence in the governance around this as well. So really having this one platform to manage your entire digital workforce. What this will allow you to do is to have the freedom to use the best agent for any task, but having that centralized security and trust that only the Workday platform can provide for you. So what does our agent system of record look like? Well, this walks you through an example of it. Here you can see the different agents that I have in play. This particular example, it's a recruiting agent. Happens to be a Workday one, but not only limited to Workday. I tell it who is this going to apply for, you know, which roles within the business. I can see a description of the different skills that the agent has that I can turn on or turn off. I can look at details such as the large language models. And then once I have those skills and security mechanisms turned on, I go to activate the agent, which is what you see here. So once the agent is activated, it's now in play. Now I wanna start to think about how do I monitor what the agent is actually doing? How do I audit it? How do I look at the usage across the business? So again, what you're seeing here is all of my agents and the flow. Which ones are being utilized the most? What's the engagement that we're getting? But also giving you insights to say there's other agents that you have that you haven't yet turned on that could also help you with what you're doing. And then thinking about those agents working alongside your teams. So bringing this together in your organization charts where I can see my employees as well as my digital employees looking at what they're doing, but also giving you those business insights into the improvements that have come to your business through delivering the agents, what they look like before and what they look like now with the agents in flow. So what we wanna focus on is delivering business value to you at scale. But to do that, AI needs to be, a, simple to adopt, needs to be predictable to budget, and it also needs to be transparent to measure. So some of those areas that the agent system of record will help with. But we also think about AI not being locked behind premium licenses or have hidden fees or just be bolted on. So how are we looking to help you with this? Well, I'm excited to introduce to you Workday Flex Credits, which is a new way to consume Workday AI. With Flex Credits, AI is just always a part of your product and is always available. Flex Credits are really built for transparency. You'll be able to see the value you're getting from every agent. So this is what it means for you. Firstly, they're free to get started. Flex credits will already be included in your base subscription. Secondly, they will scale as you grow. So in addition to what we give you, if you need more, you can add more credits in as your usage expands. Thirdly, they're universal. So flex credits are completely fungible, meaning you'll actually be able to use them across any Workday AI agents or even APIs as we're going through. So imagine you've got a recruiting agent, a planning agent, a financial close agent, and an audit agent all running across your system. With Flex Credit, you don't need to do anything special to get started. So as I said, you will get a free allotment built into your subscription. Now let's say you wanna use more AI and double down on a scenario that gives you a lot of value. So you can just buy more credits and have more AI capacity available instantly. And you always know what you're consuming. You can scale at your own pace based on the value that you'll see. So that's the power of flex credits, built into your subscription, universal across every agent, and transparent to measure. So I've just walked you through the first pillar on how we're building the next generation ERP. The best enterprise AI built right into the follow-up work. So let's look at this second step, which is around accelerating our investments in our core in order to deliver a comprehensive HR and finance suite for your AI to run on. So from a foundational standpoint, we really wanna think about giving you unmatched agility and and really creating a great market advantage for you as our customers. We wanna make that call even stronger. So thinking about business transformation at the highest level, you know, how are organizations planning, hiring, staffing, paying, closing, end to end on one platform with AI at the core. So with that, for HR and finance leaders, you know, the mandate is really clear. You must achieve operational excellence and accelerate business performance, and we wanna help you do both. So what are we doing? Well, we have Workday Accounting Center, and that already helps more than 400 customers transform billions of transactions into accounting entries, driving massive efficiency. One customer using Workday Financials and Accounting Center to automate their revenue recognition achieved a 70% reduction in manual journal entries. And we're also ensuring greater data integrity through deep investments in compliance and localization. We're supporting customers in more than a 180 countries. And early next year, our global tax hub will help give you one place to manage multi entry compliance so you can navigate complex and ever changing tax regulations across countries with ease. So what does some of this look like in practice? So what you're seeing is the Workday Intelligence intake capability. So think about a natural language that can interpret requests, checks policies and procedures. In this case, suggesting suppliers to you. So I can go in, I can ask it a question, looking at the details around this and the details that I need to be doing in order to deliver on this request. Here, I can have a supplier contract uploaded and sent in for review. So my contract intelligence agent can review and draft and flag deviations from standard guidelines. It can identify the relevant clauses and suggest updates to the indemnity clause and propose appropriate text that I need to include in my contract. All again in the flow of work providing me with the context of what I'm doing as I'm working through the details. Let's have a look at another example. So here, I can see my test marketplace. So in this scenario, we have the controller logging into a financial test dashboard. They're presented with key insights and given an overall controls confidence score. They can look at the different areas. They can see that the p two p business process is lagging other areas. And then the agent can show me duplicate, inventories that have been detected. So it's already identified the problems and blocked payments before it can even be made. So we can make recommendations looking at supplier communication as we go through. Then we have our revenue contract agent and here we're seeing the revenue hub. It's providing me again with insights around contracts, billing, revenue recognition today. So a multi year contract has been uploaded into Workday. I can look at the details associated with that. I can also look at my allocated costs, understanding the profitability that you need to see in order to allocate, say, lowest unit of production. I can have AI go across and look at the details, ask questions around what I'm doing, suggesting appropriate allocations and drivers as I'm going forward in my examples that you see here. And when I'm ready, I can test the rules and the evaluations and the details across all of the information that it's providing for you here. Verifying the details, I am the human in the loop then approving what it is going through. But we also know that we have this connection across from a financials and a human capital management standpoint. So what if I was to then look at my organization modeling? Being able to go in and use natural language to help create new models. Maybe I wanna look at bringing new positions into the business or create whole new organizations into the structure. I could identify the key talent, look to transfer the employees into the new roles, and then as it's going through, again, see what it is creating. Again, validate that yes, I'm comfortable with what these suggestions are. And maybe I want to now, you know, do transfers. Maybe I've already got existing employees that are in the mix. So I can again have that interaction between my planning, my core HTM data in order to manage all of this. Again, look at the details as what it is supplying me for my organization modeling, bring that through, and then close that off. But we're not gonna stop there. We also then think about empowering your total workforce. As we look at your human capital management for employees, from talents to gigs, for Vindly, for contingent workers. We need to also help you attract and manage every type of worker. And I'm really excited to bring you a whole level of new innovation into the story. With our recent acquisition of Paradox, we're taking the next big leap. We're delivering an AI powered talent acquisition suite to help you find, hire, and onboard every type of worker from the front line to the back office across full time and contingent roles. With Paradox's leading candidate, experienced agent, it will simplify every step of the candidate journey, particularly as we think about those high volume industries. So if Paradox sounds familiar, that's because it is. We already have over 200 joint customers, and many of you on this session today are probably already using Paradox as you look at enhancing your candidate experiences. So how does this all work now from an end to end flow as we look at this approach? Well, let's bring our demonstration to light for you. As a candidate on my mobile device, looking at the opportunities that are available to me, where I can see the options. I posted this out. As a external candidate, I saw a job opening. I can ask it questions. I can learn more about the role, and I can say yes, I'd like to apply. I give it some basic details, it can then schedule an interview for me, all saving you time as you look to interact with your candidates. So now my candidates finish the approach. They're onboard as an employee. We now wanna start to think about that connection, that engagement of your employees. So we bring our workers through with that ability to get information. How am I engaged? From a people leader standpoint, how are your employees feeling? But what if I could then draft on the fly surveys based on the information I'm getting from those engagement scores coming for your employees. And that's exactly what you were seeing here. So now we've got our engaged employees. I need to bring in a merger and acquisition into my new business. So now I could look at my job optimizer agent being able to come in to bring through a new restructure, to be able to add in, for example, different information to marry up, for example, the positions that I have in that company that I'm merging and mapping that alongside positions we may already have. So now it's allowing me to see the insights across that to do that mapping. But once it's done the mapping, again, it's finding that you've actually got roles that I couldn't map. So what else do I need it to do? Well, in this case, maybe I now need it to go and create new positions for me. So again, giving you the insights as it's going through the particular flow. Asking it questions. I want you to help me create a new job family. So here I can see the job family details. I can create the new job profiles that are a part of this. Again, you approve this. Are you comfortable with what it is generating for you? And then we move into our performance review time. We've got our new employees into the company. I wanna make this easy for my managers. We think about all of those different data points that you may have documents alongside the data in Workday. So first, let me bring that information together. Now let me suggest peers to get feedback from. Again, giving you this in a visual way that makes it very easy for me to select and to change the information as I'm going forward. Now I've got my feedback coming through. I've got all of my documentation. What do I need to do next? Well, next, I need to combine all of this information together to give you that draft performance review, giving you insights into the sources that are a part of the approach that we are bringing through. All saving time for your managers with the right insights provided in one place for them. So what's next? Well, next, we have our third pillar. And this is all about providing you with an open platform as we look at that business innovation to really empower all of you to be able to build, to extend, and to innovate, again, thinking about AI at the core. And many of you are already driving innovation with Workday Extend today. In fact, more than 1,300 customers, people like Target, Netflix, and Nasdaq, have already built, you know, these powerful applications. Today, there's nearly 3,000 extend applications in production, and this is what happens when you can put the power of that enterprise platform directly into the hands of your builders. But now we're taking the next big step. With Workday Build, our developer platform for our customers, for our partners, and for every developer that is out there, We look at Workday building game changing for you all. So what does this look like? Well, first, it lets you build the future of work. With AI at the core and new developer tools make it faster than ever for you to innovate with Workday. Our developer Copilot can help you develop applications fast with AI assistance. Orchestrate gives you low code integrations across your enterprise. Our new agent builder unlocks AI agent building for everyone. And our new data service unlocks your enterprise data for AI. As we also then think about build, we also wanna think about our partners and allowing them to develop applications and selling them directly in the Workday marketplace. Already more than 500 partners offer their solutions on Workday marketplace. So if you haven't had a look at it already, go out and start to see what some of those great applications are. Customers can activate those applications directly inside your Workday system. The third area of our Workday build environment is then to think about building your career, and this is about creating a global community where anyone can learn, innovate, and grow. From programs to certifications to hands on learning, We're really looking to empowering every Workday developer to sharpen their skills as well as being able to scale their innovations as they go through. So thinking about all of those components together, allowing you to build the future of work yourselves, to build your business through marketplace, through our partner programs that we have out there, and then thinking about the developer community and enhancing them. But as we look at all of this and the end to end processes that we're working through, now at the end of the day, every AI AI innovation, every app, every agent, every workflow runs on data. Without the data, yeah, it can't really do anything. So when we think about this enterprise data, as you all know, it's been one of the toughest challenges to solve. Your data is scattered. It's inconsistent. It's hard to find, and it's often locked away in silos. But when you think about your businesses, they rely on having these sort of whole ecosystems of enterprise data tools along with Workday. So if you think about your daily routines, you know, constant copying and extracting data out and then into other trusted systems, you that's a challenge. There's data sprawl. There's complex, expensive, time consuming to get all of this right. So what are we looking to do to help you with this? Well, our Workday data cloud will help eliminate all of those challenges that we're finding today. So the Workday data cloud is really a breakthrough that makes your data open, accessible, and AI ready. The data cloud will give our customers direct zero copy access to your HR and finance data. It'll give you the insights you need when you need them and sick with Workday securely governing at the source. So when you look at this, the Workday data cloud is built on three components. There's a data lake in Apache Iceberg, and that's giving you an open standard foundation. We have a direct SQL access API so your data teams can get real time insights. And what they prism for data management, and that's looking to ensure data is governed, it's trusted, and it's enterprise grade. And with this launch, we're also working with key partners like data cloud. Sorry. With our launch partners for the data cloud, it's including companies such as Databricks, Salesforce, as well as Snowflake. So when we think about this with the data cloud, getting that direct zero copy access to your Workday data while keeping it secure right where it lives, taking away those complex integrations, no more copying your data, and then having direct access at scale. So in addition to that, what's next? Well, in the spirit of democratizing AI, we're expanding our Workday build toolset. And the goal of that is to, again, make it faster and easier than ever for you to build agents right in Workday tailored to your unique business needs. To do this, we've taken a completely fresher approach to building agents by acquiring Flowise. Flowise brings us this fantastic low code platform with a simple drag and drop experience that makes it easy for anyone, not just developers, to build powerful agents. So with Workday FlowWise agent builder, we've really stripped away the complexity. You get this intuitive visual experience that makes agent building simple. So in just minutes, you could spin off an enterprise ready agent backed by Workday's trusted security, policy awareness, and compliance. You'll have full governance and control in the Workday agent system of record that I showed you earlier. So this is really game changing, and our early adopters will have this in their hands in the 2026. In June, we also then announced our upcoming agent gateway, and this is powered by a universal language for AI called model context protocol or MCP. So think of MCP as a secure way for your agents to be able to talk to all the other systems and tools you already use no matter what. So over the next year, we're adding hundreds of new APIs to power agentic interactions and standardizing them to speak that same language. For our HR and finance leaders, what does that mean? Well, it means that you will have a more reliable and secure flow of your most critical data. For IT leaders, it means having one unified foundation for all your agentic interactions, saving you time, cutting costs, and giving you out of the box readiness. So as we think about those hundreds of new APIs with MCP support, all delivered to you across WorkdayBuild, we're building a living, breathing ecosystem of intelligence, one that's completely unique to your business. So when you think about combining the Flowise agent builder with those APIs in our open platform, you really get that future of AI innovation built by you for your organization. So that's WorkdayBuild, your developer platform, your agents, and your innovation. And thinking about all of this, our transformational power of AI is more than just the tools themselves. Workday is opening the door to a new AI innovation ecosystem, and we're already seeing this in action with Workday customers and partners like Google Cloud and Microsoft who are leveraging our open protocols to connect their agents with Workday. So what does this actually look like? Well, we announced our next chapter of how Workday and Microsoft, for example, are working together, helping organizations securely manage AI agents and unifying the human and the digital workforce. So, of course, what does now look like in action? So what you're seeing here is Microsoft Copilot where I have a a provisioning agent that I wanna bring into the mix. So what you can see is my different channels, Workday being one of those channels. So as soon as I look at that provisioning agent through enter ID from a Microsoft standpoint, I can have that provisioning agent now automatically registered in the agent system of record. So here you can see my provisioning agent. Now it's provisioned. I can start to have my agents talking to each other. So again, here I am in Copilot talking to an employee self-service agent where I'm looking at onboarding a new employee into the business. I needed to go and create an onboarding plan. So it'll say, well, part of this needs to be done in Workday. Part of it might be done through the provisioning agent. So the first step is asking Workday. I have my new team member. What's the onboarding plan going to look like? Thinking about the journey, the learning. What else do I need to be doing? Connecting them with coworkers. Now I'm seeing the Workday information here directly in Copilot. But I need to do an approval for that. So I've got that opportunity to say, yes. I can approve that. It's been approved and it's all saved back in Workday. But I haven't actually been into Workday to do this because I'm doing that interaction again here directly within Copilot. Now it's chatting with the provisioning agent from the Copilot side of things that was developed on the Copilot building tools. So with my provisioning agent, I can look at the details. I need to provision them for a new laptop, for example. I reached out to ask Workday so I could verify the address information for the new employee. So I can actually then have the right details when I'm shipping the new equipment to the employee. So again, that power of integration, bringing that seamless orchestration across and providing you with this single powerful workflow that spans platforms to help solve those complex challenges going through. So what do we wanna think about? Well, we wanna think about providing you with one trusted AI powered system connecting the HR finance operations in real time where every agent works from the same trusted data foundation and security controls. We're shaping an AI powered human centric and future ready experience. But we haven't stopped there. What's next? Well, we also announced that we are going to acquire Sana. So when we think about Workday and Sana coming together, we look at Sana providing us with really a new front door to Workday. When we think about a new Workday experience, Sana can continue to give us a great experience connecting different data sources. Thinking about the signer agent. Again, giving you that personalized approach as your employees, thinking about how they wanna leverage information, looking at your data, the actions, and the learning all coming together in one place. So the power of learner learning allowing us to then think about that hyper personalized learning content, looking at the skills your of your employees and then free, say, a learning coach that's bringing together that key information going through. So very excited to be talking to you about Sana. And if you want to have a look at what Sana is doing and see it in action, feel free to go out to sana.ai to see that in more detail. So what have we talked about today? Well, we talked about this approach to first building the best AI agents for HR, for finance, and for planning. We wanna reduce down that approach when you think about those generic agents by having these purpose built for your HR and finance processes, powered by clean business data that's integrated into the flow of work, examples of which I've shown you today. And what this is going to allow us to do is to have this unparalleled accuracy and context, being ready to deliver value to you from day one. Secondly, we're going to think about accelerating our investment in the core. We're really doubling down on what we do best, delivering the most comprehensive and intelligent HR and finance suite in the industry. And thirdly, we're building that open platform designed for work. We make it simple for any of our customers or any department, but any employee to build on Workday and to connect with the AI ecosystem. So what are we focusing in on? Workday being the enterprise AI platform for managing people, money, and your agents. So with that, I'd like to thank you all for taking the time to hear a little bit about some of those key areas from what they're rising to really focus on how we are going to change the world of work for all of you. And with that, I can open it up. We've still got a little bit of time left to see if there's any questions, that you may have as well going forward. And I'll put my screen back on so you can actually see me as we go through. K. So, yes, a couple of questions. We can share the materials for you at, the end of the session. So, great cash question coming from that, standpoint. Also questions around the AI agent usage. So thinking about the agent activation. So yes. So so one agent being activated, so that will then start to turn on the flex credits and then the consumption, of that flex credit model, as we are looking at that. And and you will see more information coming out from Workday on those flex credits, and your account executives can be working with you to give you more insights, into exactly how that will work for you, the number of flex credits that you will get, as part of your existing subscription model, and then what the additional flex credits can be as you start to consume those licenses going forward as we look at this. But the the whole approach with the flex credits model was to say, you should just be able to turn on and start utilizing the agents that we have in place without them needing to to come back to us. So you will see exactly which agents you have available to you, can turn them on, test them, see if they're actually, you know, useful within your own environments going forward. K. And there was another question on road map timelines being published in community. So yes. So in community, as we have, always put forward for you, the the road map. So in fact, you will be seeing, our twenty six r one road maps coming out into community shortly. So that will give you insights into, firstly, what we're delivering, in twenty six r one, and then also some of those additional future pieces, that we'll also be adding in. Keep watching community because, again, a lot of information will be coming through as we're delivering out the information, talking about business value, how you set up the foundation. Community is also where we then share with you all of our AI fact sheets so you can actually understand how a our AI is working across the different capabilities, how our models learn, the security, etcetera. That's a part of that as well. So I'd recommend going into community to look at those areas to learn more about what we are doing as well. K. So I think we've covered off all of the the questions that we have online. So, again, I just wanted to thank you all for taking the time to allow me to talk to you today about those key, messages that came out of rising. I'm really looking forward to getting better connected with those customers that are out there. We can also look to set up additional one on one sessions. You can do that through your account executives, your customer success managers, where we can then provide more detail if there's anything in particular that I talked about today that you would like to get more insights and information in on as well. K. So with that, I'm going to, again, say thank you to you all and, look forward to connecting with you next time.
